Clinical supervision is foundational
Clinical supervision is foundational to effective counseling and provides you with an opportunity to work with an experienced therapist who is invested in your journey and growth.
Some of the various reasons you may seek supervision:
-
Fulfill your academic and/or state board requirements for clinical experience, licensure, or independent licensure
-
Explore and reflect on the effectiveness of your clinical practice
-
Obtain support and insight when faced with transitions or barriers, both clinically and professionally
-
Advance your knowledge, skills, competencies, and approaches in your desired speciality
-
Experience a safe person to discuss supervision concerns
Supervision is both a personal and professional investment. Personally, you deserve to find yourself the best match to support your growth and development. Professionally, you are dedicating your time and effort to nurture your wealth of knowledge, skills, and awareness within the clinical space. You are investing in your clients as well.
Supervision fees are competitive with that of other supervisors who hold similar levels of expertise and experience.
Clinical supervision is an investment
Clinical supervision is nurturing
Clinical supervision with Nurtured Wellness may be a great fit if:
-
You feel passionate about perinatal/maternal mental health care
-
You're ready to broaden your competency window
-
You want to expand your knowledge of trauma-informed care
-
You enjoy working as an authentic therapist--genuine to yourself
-
You're looking for a safe person to discuss supervision concerns
-
You're interested in a supervisor that is not also in charge of your annual performance-review
Supervision at Nurtured Wellness is currently offered to Ohio therapists who are seeking independent licensure, as well as those who are seeking their supervisor endorsement. Most recently, MFTs may also receive clinical supervision from an LPCC-S. All supervision will be delivered in accordance with best practices, current ethical and professional standards (set forth by the current American Counseling Association & American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Codes of Ethics), and laws and rules (set forth by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board).
